I started my Shabbat morning walking around the Old city - had an incredibly peaceful, restful morning.
I joined a small group for a walking tour with Ariel around the area near the hotel in Jerusalem, including the official Natanyahu residence, Ariel's previous residence in a beautiful nearby neighborhood. We discussed the fact that there are only 2 embassies in Jerusalem because no other countries recognize it as the capital of Israel. I am truly beginning to appreciate the sentiment of a purposeful separation between the work week and a day of rest.
We ended our Shabbat and welcomed in the new week with Havdalah in the park, lots of singing and of course some wine.
Shavua tov!
